She was predeceased by: her husband Loren Leonberger; her parents, John M. Peterson and MarJean H. Peterson; her brother Monte M. Peterson; and her great-nephew Keaton W. Nelson.

She is survived by: her sister Marcia Turner of Chandler, AZ; her significant other Patrick Stefanski; and also Todd Peterson (Sharon). She is also survived by seven nephews and nieces and twelve great nephews and nieces.
