In the sacred silence of farewell, JoAn is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Icem Cook and Perlina Cook; and her grandson Erik Pyle. She is survived by: her husband Virgil Lee Lowery; and her children, Anita Pyle (Fred), Yvonna Jones, Stan Lowery and Nancy Spivey (Greg). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Marana Mortuary Cemetery (12146 W Barnett Rd, Marana, AZ 85653). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery (15950 N Luckett Rd, Marana, AZ 85653).
