She was predeceased by: her parents, Myrtle DeBeck Smith and Eugene J. Smith; and her brother Robert Lowell Smith. She is survived by: her husband Charles Lyman Matson; her children, Kris, Susan and Robert; her son-in-law Mark Depew; her grandchildren, Jon, Sarah and Rebecca; her niece Melissa; and her sister-in-law Pilar Maria Smith.
