It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walt Clarence Thiede of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, born in Schiller Park, Illinois, who passed away on February 14, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter C. (Anna C. Thiede) and Walter; his caregiver Marilyn Flick; his children, Walter G., David, Kelly (Chuck), Roberta and Sue; and his pet Emma. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to any veterans' organizations, a cause close to Walter's heart, symbolizing his lifelong dedication to serving others.
