It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velia Perez Carrillo (Lake Havasu City, Arizona), who passed away on October 17, 2018, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Atanasio Perez and Maria Perez; and her siblings, Rosa Ojeda, Lydia Rubio, Hector Perez and George Perez.
She is survived by: her children, Carlos Carrillo, Jr. (Carina), Xavier Carrillo, Marina Andrews, Velia Carrillo and Laura Benson (John). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
