He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Edwards and Ruby Edwards. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Isabella, Austin, Harris and Norah; his wife Judy; his children, Brandon Edwards (Anna) and Christa Avila (Noyman); and his sister Vicki Myers.
