He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kirk and Florence Kirk; and his brother Jack Kirk. He is survived by: his wife Monta Kirk; his children, David Kirk, Gloria Jost and Linda Kirk Herrera; and his sister Norma Nares. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
