“Please forgive this long overdue message, as I just now learned about Lois' death. I was Alan's girlfriend over 20 years ago and was fortunate to be welcomed in their family home in La Palma, Ca. I got to know Lois pretty well and she was amazing, kind, generous, a wonderful cook and a loving Mom and wife. She used to play Neil Diamond on the stereo almost daily. Whenever I hear his music, I'm reminded of her, and it brings a smile to my face. I'm so very sorry for your loss. Stacy Butler”
