He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Shine and Delta Shine (Davis); and his son John Russell Shine. He is survived by: his wife Doris Shine; his children, Jerry Shine, Michael Shine (Candie), Gary Shine, Paul Shine (Sheryl), Patricia Shine (Rick) and Sandra Shea (Govert); and his siblings, Allen Shine, Jr., Pauline Callaway and Enid Cregger (Wes). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
