She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Short and Addie Short; her husband George Moran (William Lennartz); her brother Bill; and her son Gary Root.
She is survived by: her siblings, Jean Allen, Barbara Nowell and Tim Short; her daughter Beth Nair; and her grandchildren, Larry Root (Sheryl), Steven Root (Jennifer) and Melissa Martin (Kevin). She is also survived by eight great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
