She is survived by: her daughter Mary Elizabeth Hawkins; her son-in-law Earl T. Hawkins; her granddaughter Nicole M. Merkel; her great grandchildren, Tavion S. Houston and Nathan A. Hawkins-Henry; her sisters, Patricia and Nona Curtis; and her cousins, Bobby McBride, Emma, Ken Brown, Faye, Joe Bragado and Linda Gorman. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
