He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Oscar and Annie Lurlene Lowry; his wife Janice Lowry; his daughter Donna Frederickson; and his siblings, Mickey Lowry, Tom Lowry, Bob Lowry and Nancy Reed.
He is survived by: his close friend Marie Russell; his son David Lowry (Rhonda Hyder) of Knoxville, Tennessee; his sisters, Mary-Ann Kelley (Bill) and Lynn Delancy (Chuck) of Abilene, Texas; and his son-in-law Bob Frederickson of Nebraska. He is also survived by his six grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
