She was predeceased by: her parents, John Honea and Lelia Honea; her stepfather Stanley Peden; her siblings, Myrna, Gracie, Leah Rae, John, Walter and Bud; and her son Arlen.
She is survived by: her husband Norman Horn; her children, Robert (Barbara), Kandy, Rhiannon (Jeremiah), Kerry, Kelly, Clint, Amanda (Will), Christin (Eric), Erin, Amy, Christina and Pete; her grandchildren, Joshua, Nicolas, Shalyn Horn, Kayla, Royce Knapp, Jackson Meyer and Hazel Naughton; her sisters-in-law, June Snavely (Roy) and Claudia Honea; and her aunts and uncles, Irene, Evelyn, Bill and Bob (Karen). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
To honor her lifelong love of reading, memorial contributions may be made to Morrill Public Library in Hiawatha, KS.
