He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roberto Bracamonte and Magdalena Bracamonte; his wife Gloria "Laly"; his children, Richard (Carmen), Lorrie Celis (Peter), Alex (Lisa) and Ernie (Melissa); and his siblings, Dave (Lupe) and Angie Chavez (Rex). He was also cherished by his 14 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild, many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
