He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ursulo Esquivel and Damiana Esquivel; his wife Lucy Carrillo; his children, Marion Herrera (Mario), Sophie Lopez, Martin "Tin" Esquivel (Laura King), Larry Esquivel (Betty) and Chuck Esquivel (Jeanne); and his grandson Michael. He was also cherished by 17 grandchildren, 35 great-granchildren, and 7 great great-grandchildren.
