He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Martinez and Eusebia Martinez; and his sisters, Mary, Ramona and Annie.

He is survived by: his wife Rosie Baldenegro; his children, Rose Mary (Andy Martinez), Frank (Beverly), Joey, Georgina, Barbara (Johnny Vega) and Cecilia (Ruben Lopez); and his siblings, Edward (Sara), John (Adeline) and Genevieve (Alfonso Lopez). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren.

Their love story is the foundation of their family.
