He was predeceased by: his parents, Josefa Rodriguez-Real and Cosme Real, Sr.. He is survived by: his spouse Enedina "Yonie" Pacheco; his children, Marie Romero, Elvia Lopez, Fernando Real Jr. and Anthony Real; his great grandchild Fernando; and his sister Candy Lucero of New Mexico. He is also survived by 4 children, 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.
