We are sad to announce that on May 7, 2019, at the age of 81, Mamie Sue (Hemmitt) Fuqua (Huachuca City, Arizona), born in Thornton, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hemmitt and Mamie Hemmitt (Burrough); her husband Lonnie C. Fuqua; and her daughter Carol Melendez. She is survived by: her granddaughter Nicole L. Cromeans (James); and her great grandchildren, Gabriel, Zoe and Jackson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
