He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Erma Hale and Lewis Smith; his wife Barbara Behrends; his children, Robert Smith (Toni), Suzi Szymeczek (Steve), Paul Smith (Lezlee) and Michael Smith (Pamala); and his grandchildren, Renee, Christine, Steven, Derek and Jessica.
