He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clark Owen Flake and Afton Hatch Flake; his wife Christine; his children, Heath Flake, Marlo Gibbs (Scott), Colton Flake (Meghan) and Taia Flake; and his grandchildren, Thae Flake, Ruester Gibbs, Aurora Flake, Ruckus Gibbs, Brix Flake, Bhail Flake and Ravelle Gibbs.
