She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Bud Letner and Faye Letner; her former husband Pete Gandy; her siblings, Gail, Quill, Ron and Lynn; and her son Garth.

She is survived by: her husband George R Alexander; her children, Cindy Smith (Tracey), Rachell Savage (Andy), Jesse Alexander (Kim), Swanie Robinson (John), Amber Munig (Troy), Tara Woodward (Landen), Gaylin, Pam and Carol McCormick; and her siblings, Cheryl, Elden and Gene. She is also survived by 33 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren.
