She was predeceased by: her parents, Drew Petersen and Marie Petersen; her brother Mike; and her siblings-in-law, Billy, Sr., Naoma Owens, Kenneth and Sharon Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Myra Parkinson (Frank), Ross (Tiffani), Arlo (Jennifer) and Byron Owens (Aunjani); and her husband Billy Owens. She is also survived by her children, seventeen grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
Darlene was blessed to be a mother to her four beautiful children: one daughter, Myra (Frank) Parkinson, and three sons, Ross (Tiffani), Arlo (Jennifer), and Byron (Aunjani) Owens.
