He was predeceased by: his wife Luz Quesada; his stepdaughter Mary Elizabeth "Lizzie" Guzman (Abe); his brother Alfredo G. Kame; and his parents, Yonegiro and Genoveva.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Jaime (Catalina), Jacob "Jake" (Danira), Roxane "Roxie" Alvarado (Arturo) and Joe Michael "Jomiko" (Andrea). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren.
