She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Murphy and Alice Murphy (Dohrmann). She is survived by: her husband Frederick R. Pelton; her children, Christine Pelton (Dan), Joseph Pelton (Beth) of Canton, GA and Catherine Bechtel (Michael); and her brother Dennis Murphy (Pat) of Henderson, Nevada..

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Parkinson's Disease Association.
