He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Evelyn Marie Winfrey; his son Gregory Winfrey of Oregon; his stepson-in-law Wayne Dunkerson of Fort Smith; his daughters, Dawn Winfrey, Shawn Winfrey and Terri Neeson; his stepdaughter Judy Dunkerson of Hackett; and his siblings, Gary Winfrey of Arizona, Tommy Winfrey of Arizona, Mary Bogart of Washington and Lea O'Burg of Indiana. He was also cherished by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
