She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorsey "Verd" Orr and Dorothy Loretta Bunnell Orr (Kirk Mac McGowan); her parents-in-law, Vernon "Mac" McGowan and Hildred "Hilly" Kirkpatrick McGowan; and her brother Howard Dorsey Orr.

She is survived by: her children, Marjo Lynn McGowan Brough (Robert "Bob" Louis Brough, Jr.), Kirk "Mark" McGowan (Sheryl Louise Ekstrom McGowan) and Jay Dee McGowan of Sonora; her siblings, Verd "Alden" Orr and Linda Lucille Orr Outhier (Louis "Corky" L. Outhier, Jr.); her sisters-in-law, Karen Sue McGowan Nellis and Marilyn Elizabeth Laporte Orr; and her daughter-in-law Paula Jean Reed McGowan. She is also survived by eleven Grand Children and thirteen Great Grand Children along with many sweet Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
