He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Tobin and Nora Tobin; his siblings, Paul, Al Tobin and Louise Madden; and his siblings-in-law, Melba Tobin, Bill Hackett and Jim Madden.

He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Ryan and Shannon; his siblings, Teresa Hackett, Kathleen Dolph and Bill Tobin; and his siblings-in-law, Tom Dolph, Katy Tobin and Dusene Tobin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
