He was predeceased by: his parents, Rodolfo Aguirre and Manuela Aguirre; his wife Beatriz; and his children, Maria Esther Martinez and Rodolfo Aguirre.

He is survived by: his children, Jose Luis (Rosa), Raul Enrique (Raquel), Julian (Hilda), Jaime (Maria), Carla Greene (Scott), Veronica Mendez (Robert), Ruben (Carla), Gloria Edwards (Dann), Javier (Angelica) and Margaret Velasco (Daniel). He is also survived by his 109 grandchildren, and greatgranchildren.
