He was predeceased by: his father Paul Kovats; and his grandparents, Justina, William Yoe Sr., Daisy and Peter Kovats.
He is survived by: his friend Pete; his close friend Gregory Zona; his mother Ilona "Sis" Kovats (Yoe); his brothers, Christopher Kovats, Deverest Kovats and Nickolas Kovats (Courtney); and his nieces and nephews, Cameron Kovats (Deverest), Jordan Kovats, Gwenyth Kovats, Brynnlee Kovats and Oakley Kovats Due (Nickolas).
