Lael Jeannine Wellington Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lael Jeannine Wellington of Goodyear, Arizona, who passed away on August 20, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwood Johnson and Ila Johnson (Jones); her husband Charles Edward Wellington; and her sister Ruth Jaeckel. She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Lynn of Santa Fe, NM and Greg Eliot (Barb) of Goodyear, AZ; her sister Kay Weede of Tucson, AZ; and her grandchildren, Micah W. Miller, Pierre G. Miller, Kent E. Wellington and Laura J. Wellington. She is also survived by nephews, nieces and cousins.
In 2021, she had courageously weathered breast cancer during the pandemic.
