He is survived by: his wife Karen Sauer; his daughters, Jody Grabowski (Joe) and Julie Ashford (Joe); his grandsons, Marc Sauer (Sharon) and Joe Ashford; his great grandchildren, Tiffany Sauer and Alexis Sauer; and his sisters, Florene Sauer Bunner and MaryAnn Sauer. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
