He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion "Mickie" Trout and Alice Trout; and his sister Laura Michelsen. He is survived by: his wife Ann Trout; his daughter Marcie Trout; his siblings, Dixie Tyner, Gail Anderson and Mike Trout; and his grandchildren, Xavier and Evelyn Palomera. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

The family suggests donations be made to St. Mary's Food Bank, to support the homeless population in the Phoenix Metro Area.
