He was predeceased by : his parents, Bill Kottmeier and Hildegarde Kottmeier (Rabus); and his brother George Kottmeier. He is survived by is son James (Christine) of Franklin, MA. He is also survived by granddaughter Caroline a junior at Drexel University. He is survived by : his nephew Joe Conry (Jennifer) of Lake Sammamish; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Rowen, Rhianna and Jameson; and his sisters-in-law, Linda Anderson, Bonnie Mesick (Frank) and Gayle Bakken (Mylo). He is also survived by his wife, all of his great relatives and many good friends.

In lieu of gifts or flowers donate to the Southern Poverty Law Center, the Democratic party, or a charity of your choosing.
