He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Campos and Alicia Campos of His; and his brothers, Tony, Rick and Steve Campos.

He is survived by: his sister Lydia Castaneda His; his stepson Freddy Melcher; his niece Bobbi Joe Florez; his great grandchild Orion Melcher; his wife Patricia Campos of His; and his sister Teresa "Teddy" Campos Casillas. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Donations in his honor can be made to Pinal Mountain Little League.
