He was predeceased by: his parents, George Howell and Velma Carpenter; and his wife Dorothy Gren (Dot). He is survived by: his sisters, Della Roop and Marilyn Wooley of California; his children, Gary Scott Howell and Donna Sue Howell; and his stepchildren, Steve, Dennis Halvorson, Sandy Walston, Jenny Homan and Cynthia Martinez. He is also survived by Many grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and many grand and great-grand nephews and nieces.
Viewing will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Griffith Mortuary (101 Johnston Dr, Kearny, AZ 85137). A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Mammoth Valley View Cemetery (125 N Clark Rd, Mammoth, AZ 85618).
