It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mamie Lea Rothwell of Globe, Arizona, who passed away on January 6, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Rex Rothwell; her daughter Sharon Mayes; her sister Carolyn McManus; and her parents, Mattie Whistler and Ralph Gray.
She is survived by: her children, Joy Heisler (Les) and Reggie Rothwell (Cristella); her siblings, Jean Reed and Norman Whistler; her grandsons, Michael Hughey (Ana' Alicia), Matthew Hughey, Ronnie Rothwell (Carey), Rocky Rothwell (Sydnee), Roy Mayes and Randy Mayes; and her great grandchildren, Ali, Kayla, Matthew, Wyatt, Coltin, Lillian, Rocky Rex, Tristan, Bryson, Bailey and Ryan.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Desert Community Fellowship Church (173 E Stephens Way, Tonto Basin, AZ 85553).
