He was predeceased by: his wife Linda S. Holmes; his parents, Harold Holmes and Lucille Holmes; his sister Dorothy L. Sexton; and his brother-in-law Terry Peed.

He is survived by: his siblings, Harold and Beverly Peed; and his brother-in-law John Sexton (Jack). He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
