He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Joy and Edna Joy; his son Melvin Eugene Joy; and his siblings, Dwight Joy (Betty) and Lenora Clark (Bud).
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Joy; his children, Calvin Joy (Teri) and Lynell Watkins (Ken); his granddaughters, Becky Joy, Christa Colvin and Kayla Colvin; and his great grandchild Remy Williams.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Lamont Mortuary Chapel (328 S Hill St, Globe, AZ 85501). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
