She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillie Mae Weems and Glenn Fields Hudman; her husband Jack Mitchell; her daughter Norma Platt; her granddaughter Jennifer Laman; and her great great grandchild Daniel Albo.

She is survived by: her children, Norma Frances, Jack Darrell, Linda Eileen and Susan Gay. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren and 1 great great great grandchild.
