It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dawn E. Copeland-Yates of Globe, Arizona, who passed away on March 15, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sr. Every and Vennetta Copeland (Sanford); her husbands, Gary Prigge, Larry Copeland Sr. and William "Dwight" Yates; her son Larry Copeland Jr.; her siblings, Denese Copeland-Donovan and John Every Jr.; and her brother-in-law Tim "Picky" Pillatzki.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Prigge (Leslie), Tessie Copeland, Loren Copeland (Tracy), Michele Knowlton, David Copeland (Ellen), Danielle Uto (Christopher), Mandrielle Schelble and Tami Alvarez (Manuel); her grandchildren, Emma Prigge, Ryan Prigge (Kourtney), Byron Haught (Rachel), Morgan Langley, Kayla Valenzuela, Rebecca Copeland, Mackenzie Goodwin (TR), Courtnie Copeland, Colten Copeland, Debra Jordan, Justin Castaneda, Austin Skaggs, Brandon Skaggs, Dillon Holland, Taylor Holland, Aubree Santa Maria (Garrett), Averie Gardner, Jace Gardner, Jayden Warren, Payten Uto, Owen Uto, Jacob Valtierra (Sabryna), Payton Schelble, Brayden Schelble, Stephen McCullough, Alianna Taylor and Ahmira Taylor; and her sisters, Stacia Pillatzki and Anita Livingston. She is also survived by 27 Great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Central Heights Baptist Church (5773 Main St, Globe, AZ 85501). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Mt. Breeze Memorial Gardens (3751 US-60, Miami, AZ 85539).
