He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Allen Phillips of Trammell and Juliet Cabral Cisterna of Globe; his grandparents, John Christian Phillips, Pearl Ramsey Phillips, Alfonso B. and Bibiana Cabral; and his uncles, Alfonso and Richard Cabral.

He is survived by: his sister Christyne Cisterna of Phoenix, AZ; and his aunts, Maria Young of Payson, AZ and Patricia C. Davis of Tennessee.
