He is survived by: his children, Jean Turney-Shaw (Steve), Charles Turney, Jr. (John) and Patrick Turney (Reta); his grandchildren, Jeanine Avalos, William Shaw and Madison Turney; and his siblings, Billie Rhodes, Jessie Reed, Glenn Weddle and John Turney. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
