He was predeceased by: his father Alton R Dees; and his wife Sylvia M. Dees. He is survived by: his children, Curtis Whittle (Dayna Tollman), Candace Roach, Cynthia Dees (Brian Wallis), Randee Cortes, Annmarie and Shannon. He is also survived by his 4 children, 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren.
