It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Viola Louise (Story) Kearney Werlinger of Glendale, Arizona, born in Sesser, Illinois, who passed away on February 27, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Bessie Elizabeth Story (Mitchell); her husbands, J. B. Kearney and Adam Werlinger; her siblings, Goldie Hazel Story Reiger, Robert Houston Story, Lucille Marie Story, Effie Evelyn Story Watkins, James Leroy Story, Charles William Irvin Story and Pat Lonzo Story; and her great grandchild Makanda Jaide Williams.
She is survived by: her former husband Joel Bryant Kearney (J. B.); her daughters, Ramona Kearney, Christine Kearney (David), Kay Kearney, Rebecca Kearney Benedict (Kenny), Donna Kearney Smith (Troy) and Jane Kearney (Mark Simpson); her grandchildren, Joel Perry, Emily Kearney, Sarah Williams Carlton, Ashley Kearney, Lonnie Mann III, Dylan Kearney, Miles Williams, Chelsea Benedict Zettler, Chloe Benedict Knolhoff, Macy Kearney and Delaney Kearney; and her brother Lewis Jackson Storey (John) of Centralia, IL..
