It is with great sadness that we announce the death of TaTahneeka Holmes of Glendale, Arizona, born in Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on December 23, 2023, at the age of 39, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Robert Burnside, Lennie Ross-Moon and John Wesley Holmes; and her brother Kelvin Dion Holmes. She is survived by: her parents, Yvonne Burnside of Peoria, AZ and Kelvin Earl Holmes (Franchetta) of Waterloo; her daughters, Camara Amira Dalrymple of Glendale, AZ and Tayla Amara Griffin of Glendale, AZ; and her siblings, Rashad LeFlore of Eagan, MN, Karima Bennett of Waterloo, LaKeysha Holmes of Waterloo, Michael Allen of Waterloo, JaKobe Allen of Waterloo, Jasmine Webber (Tyler) of Waterloo and DeMarcus Allen of Atlanta, GA. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
