He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy Marshall; his grandparents, Ed and Laura Merkel; his daughter Brandy Rose; and his close friend John Bisbine.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Lee (Cooke); his mother-in-law Eleanor Cooke; and his sisters-in-law, Yvonne Thompson (Danny) and Beryl Kay Simpson (Sam). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, one niece and several nephews.
