He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Carlin and Marion Carlin; his wife Sharon; and his son Tom. He is survived by: his children, Janis (John), Randy (Debbie) and Jeff (Bernadine). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, who loved their Grandpa dearly, and 9 great-grandchildren.
He and Sharon were married for 64 years before she succumbed to Alzheimer's disease in 2020.
