She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Vincent Carver and Maude Carver of Virginia; her husband George William DeYoung; her son Lawrence Arthur; her siblings, David Arthur Carver, Mildred Weis Lindesmith, Edith Elaine Yager and Alice Leona Carver; her sons-in-law, William Abbott and Wallace Knight; her great grandchild Bo Olsen; and her children, Tara Knight, Larry (Army) and Mary Rogers (Ray). She was also cherished by 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter and nieces and nephews.
