He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Cook Sr. and Rebecca Cook; his wife Brenda Sue Ball; and his son Brian. He is survived by: his son Jeffrey; his daughter-in-law Heather; his grandchildren, Christopher Cook, Amy Cook, Barbara Hayes, Alexandra Cook and Jaden Cox; and his great grandchild Chloe Hayes.

Viewing was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the West Resthaven Funeral Home (6450 W Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Resthaven Park Cemetery (6450 W Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301).
