He was predeceased by: his wife Kum Cha Panas; and his parents, Bernice Panas and John Panas Sr.. He is survived by: his sons, Michael Panas and Greg Shoemaker.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the West Resthaven Funeral Home (6450 W Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Louis the King Catholic Church (4331 W Maryland Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301). A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Resthaven Park Cemetery (6450 W Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301).
